Fortnightly bin collections DO work
IN response to Simon Forrester about fortnightly bin collections.
I live in Ferndown and we have had fortnightly collections for rubbish for a few years now.
There is not a problem with this at all.
If people use all the appropriate bins – recycling, food waste and rubbish – n.
No bins are overflowing if you use all the bins properly.
It’s down to householders to be responsible and use the proper bins.
