I DON’T know the ins and outs of the claim that we are £61 a year better off with our phone bills because of the EU (We need our neighbours, Echo, November 12).

I would willingly pay the difference if it meant securing our borders and withdrawing from this unaccountable club (£55m a day and rising).

The failed experiment with freedom of movement has resulted in Europe becoming a much more dangerous place.

There are far more worrying concerns than the cost of a phone bill.
