WITH reference to the article and correspondence about the proposals to create a ‘super council’ and as one of the many people in Dorset who pays the wages of these council leaders and the chief executive officers, I object in the strongest of terms to the fact that they have held several secret discussions about this issue.
The issue is now a matter of public controversy and must therefore be dealt with in the open and publicly.
These elected and unelected officials have no right especially ‘in private’ to hatch any plans without proper and full public disclosure of what they are talking about – because they are being paid out of taxpayer funds.
