THIS is an open letter to the excellent people of Bournemouth who looked after my step-mother, Mrs Edith Lilian Niblett, who recently passed away, aged 106 years.
Thank you for making her last days comfortable and for attending her funeral service at the crematorium.
A special thank you to the mayor of Bournemouth for dropping by before the service to pay his regards, while on his way to a meeting.
The flowers were taken to the War Memorial Homes’ Garden of Remembrance on Castle Lane.
Edith came to Bournemouth many years ago and settled down very well with everyone.
She found a new life when she met and married her second husband.
Thank you all again for your kindness.
