I WOULD like to thank people in Southbourne on Saturday afternoon for helping me to chase a runaway Pomeranian dog.
We had just got out of our car to walk our three dogs, when this little chap shot past us.
There was a chase which involved running along the cliff top, Grand Avenue, Pine Avenue, Southbourne Grove, Arnewood Road, Frankston Road, Beaufort Road, Paisley Road, Stamford Road, Burleigh Road and Watcombe Road.
I should mention the chap in a 4x4 I stopped for a lift in Southbourne Grove and the lady and her daughter in a silver car for giving me a lift.
Steve was the chap who cornered the dog in a garage and I held the dog as he drove us around looking for the owner.
I took the dog to the vets to get the micro-chip number and the dog was re-united with a very happy family.
A big pat on the back to all that chipped in.
Thank you.
