LOW cloud and low visibility stopped the mighty air show on Thursday.

But presumably in such conditions the monstrous Navitus wind turbines would still be highly visible 13 miles out at sea.

And when the mighty jets are flying, roaring over neighbourhoods, presumably we would still hear the dreadful wind turbine blades out on the horizon.

And that is the difference between “good technology” (that which benefits Bournemouth tourism) and “bad technology” (that which serves the nation’s need for sustainable clean energy sources).

Also to note in national news more “climate warming” ideology from USA. This, from the National Oceanographic and Atmosphere Administration, brings to the world’s attention that 2014 was the hottest year globally and 2015 is on track now to exceed 2014.

But, from the ideology camp, this has nothing to do with the 27.5 billion tons of fossil fuel burning carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas emitted each year locking rising temperatures into the globe.

So we have set up the globe as one giant pressure cooker – set to cook us all during this century – and the answer from Bournemouth – fly in mighty, mass-polluting aircraft over the towns and, by public policy, spare no costs making sure the 'dreadful' wind farm is killed off before it does irrevocable damage to our towns.

And I thought it was mass-pollution doing the damage.
