ON various TV chat shows, they often ask “Were you cruelly attacked or abused when you were a child?”
My answer to that and most likely most people of my age would have to answer “yes”.
We were cruelly attacked and abused by our parents and by our teachers at school.
The use of the belt, cane, slipper or even hard ruler to our body was commonplace.
So much so that we all accepted it as normal.
What those people did to us back then would put them all in prison today.
Any form of physical violence, especially on our young children, should be banned forthwith today.
There can be no justification whatsoever on the bigger or stronger to resolve to such violence.
Nobody but nobody should have to lawfully adhere to it.
