I WOULD like to thank Dave Nichols and his staff at the Dorset Waste Partnership on the Ferndown Industrial Estate, who found my handbag at the bus stop near the Crooked Beam Restaurant and went to the trouble of finding my contact details and returning it to my friends.
I, in the meantime, had boarded a coach and was on my way to the Lake District.
Someone on the coach used their mobile and contacted my friends at the Bacon and Cheese shop in Southbourne and on my return from my holiday, my bag and I were reunited.
Everybody on the coach was so impressed by such honesty and myself most of all.
I am in my late 70s and it was a shock to find out that I had been so careless.
Once again a big thank you to Mr Nichols and his staff at the Dorset Waste Partnership.
