REGARDING the 10 per cent rise to MPs. How could they?
Telling the country that we all have to cut back and welfare spending is cutback which will affect thousands of homes and especially disabled people.
Can we do with less MPs? Yes.
Can we do without our NHS doctors, nurses and other staff, or our fire service or our paramedics or our police service or our teachers? No, absolutely not and they all deserve a 10 per cent rise.
Maybe our MPs need to spend some time in amongst these services and get down to the real work so they see exactly what faces them each day.
There should be no rise for MPs at the moment until we are in a better financial position.
