LAST Tuesday, while on holiday in Bournemouth my wife and I decided to visit Poole.
On arriving at Poole Bus Station we asked two girls to point us in the direction of Poole Harbour. Immediately the girls, aged 16 and 18, said: “We’ll take you there.”
Kindly they took us through the shopping centre and into an old Poole street to the waterside, telling us something of the history of the town.
We were so impressed by their kindness and interest in us. My wife and I feel such young people are a credit to your town.
Unfortunately we didn’t ask their names, but would like to thank express our appreciation to them publicly through your newspaper.
