HAVING over the months had to travel by train to King’s College Hospital in London – changing at Clapham Junction – it has been so noticeable how many passengers seem to occupy a seat with just a rucksack bag instead of placing the item in the overhead rack.

This makes it difficult for passengers looking for a seat, whereby the person who has placed this bag then has the audacity not to remove the bag in the hope no-one will sit next or opposite them.

It should be made clear over the tannoy, plus guard and window stickers, that a charge will be made.
