I WOULD like to clarify the comment I made in the Echo letters page on the 22nd June 22 where I stated that in March 2015 the motion relating to the Living Wage was voted against by Lib Dem councillors. It was not; I was misinformed and wish to correct the error.
One Lib Dem voted for the Living Wage, and the other Lib Dem didn’t attend come to the meeting. One cannot understand something that is now so important that why the Lib Dems did not even appoint a substitute during the March meeting.
