SHOPPING precincts are the worst idea since high-rise buildings!
They have removed the hustle and bustle of a busy town and replaced it with anti-socialism. Drug dealers around the corners, drunks and beggars on our streets. Once busy shops closing down one after another.
I can recall back in the late 70s when I resided for a short time in Chichester. I could actually hear people’s footsteps as they walked through the town.
Bournemouth, Boscombe or anywhere else in our area was never like that. It felt so weird. At least Winton is still free of that.
I say, put an end to shopping precincts and bring the full activity back to our towns.
