IN response to Sue Chapman (Echo letters 13 May): in a survey of Bournemouth West constituents 87 per cent were opposed to Navitus.

Independently organised public meetings have all shown very similar results.

In the Planning Examination, nearly 2,700 people or organisations made the effort to submit written representations, all published and still on the PINS website.

Count them for yourself: 10 per cent were neutral or in favour, 90 per cent were against the wind farm.

The new Secretary of State, Amber Rudd, will soon be receiving the Examiners’ Report.

She then has three months to make her decision on Navitus.

Now is the time for all to write to her at Amber Rudd MP, Secretary of State, Department of Energy and Climate Change, 3 Whitehall Place, Westminster, London, SW1A 2AW.

Tell her whether you want to save our beautiful heritage coastline and our tourist economy, or if you prefer to subsidise foreign developers to destroy it all.
