ALTHOUGH I am less than happy about the planning process, I cannot grumble about the proposed savings for taxpayers following the installation of solar panels to the roof of the multi-storey staff car park at the Civic Centre in Poole.
I request though, please, can someone turn off the numerous lights when the facility is not in use?
Since installation the lights seem to have been full on, night and day, including Bank Holidays and weekends, when the car park is apparently empty.
Minimal security lighting is all that is required.
This will allow more valuable energy to be saved back into the grid by means of the feed in tariff.
