THANK you Peter Bingham for highlighting the problem of urban foxes.
We here in the Moordown area appear to be blighted with their presence.
My family and I also love animals and wish no harm to fall upon them.
However, there is a local gentleman who persistently insists on putting out eggs every day/night by the local baptist church entrance.
He is exacerbating the situation by laying down food.
As a result our gardens and streets are littered with eggs/egg shells.
We can no longer keep our doors or windows open for fear of them entering.
The final straw this week, for my family and I, was to find a cloven hoof animal leg, partly eaten, in our driveway, obviously obtained from a butcher.
The pest control team of Bournemouth Borough Council are aware of the situation but as far as I can see, the answer to this problem is for the gentleman to simply refrain from putting food down as it actively encourages foxes to enter our domain.
