OUR road planners at the council are at it again.
If Castle Lane and Richmond Hill weren’t enough, then prepare yourselves for a month of misery.
Malvern Road is about to be ‘calmed’ beyond recognition.
The initial section at the junction of Malvern Road and Charminster Avenue now has one priority lane which only lets one vehicle through at a time.
Having tried to negotiate it, I was caught in an ensuing road rage scenario involving a white van and another motorist who were sandwiched between the recently raised kerbs.
Add this to the school run and speed humps the length of Malvern Road, then I’m sure mayhem is a certainty.
JAMES STRAIGHT, Queen Mary Avenue, Bournemouth
