I REFER to January 19 Daily Echo “Have Your Say” page 18, ‘Coach Move Is Unhelpful’, written by Valerie Old, Seldown Road, Poole.

I rang Poole council with regards to the above letter and was advised by a very helpful gentleman to write to Mr Richard Pinnegar, Traffic Department, Civic Centre, Poole, Dorset, BH15 2RU, voicing my objections.

My sister Pam uses the National Express coach service from Exeter to Poole.

She comes and visits me twice a year in the spring and late summer, and the National Express coach service has a bus stop in Seldown car park.

It is then easy for her to drag her heavy wheeled suitcase from this bus stop to the taxi rank at The George to come to my address, and vice versa when she goes home again back to Exeter.

Hopefully your other readers who also have family members visit them using the National Express coaches will also write to Mr Richard Pinnegar and if he gets enough letters from the residents of Poole, he will think twice about moving the coach stop to Baiter and leave it at Seldown car park, which is convenient for visitors and residents alike.
