DURING the summer I was surprised at how many vehicles seemed to require headlights on even during broad, sunny daylight.
Now, during longer periods of darkness, I am astonished – and occasionally blinded – by those who choose to drive selfishly on well-lit urban roads with headlights on full beam.
This is exacerbated when there is rain and the glare is reflected off the road surface.
I consider it is only a matter of time before there is a serious, head-on accident, maybe involving both blinded and blinder.
I am appealing to the drivers of the area to use their lights as they were intended and have more consideration for other drivers.
