ONE reads so much anti against local hospitals, but credit where it is due. I slipped and broke my ankle on November 26. Poole A&E saw me in one hour and five minutes.
I had been X-rayed, had a temporary cast and was admitted to a ward within 2.5 hours. My ankle was too swollen to operate so I was sent home for a few days. I was re-admitted on December 2, operated on December 3 and back home on December 4.
All staff I met were courteous, helpful and friendly. The food was great from a quite extensive menu.
Well done all at Poole Hospital, consultant Mr Southgate and team, and a big thank you.
