I THINK the thrill of a “zip wire” ride is just what I need to blow my winter blues away.
What fun to be hurtling, waving and screaming towards Harry Ramsden’s restaurant at break neck speed high above the sea and beach.
The down side I found was that intuitively one walks to the starting point at the tower on the Pier only to find that the strapping into a harness takes place at the landing point then one walks back along the Pier and up the scary open stairs to be launched.
I gave up, because by the time I had wandered back and forth looking where to start and where to pay, I had lost all enthusiasm (my bottle).
A great attraction, let down drastically by poor signage, advertising and directions. Get it right before the spring please.
