There has been a recent case of a disabled gentleman in a wheelchair being refused the last bus home because a mother with child in a pushchair occupying the disabled bay and refusing to move (reported in Yorkshire Post on First Bus).
Surely an able-bodied person should vacate a disabled bay when needed.
Being able-bodied, she could have folded the push chair and moved. The disabled bay should be for disabled people, including those on crutches.
