WE had concert tickets, so I phoned the BIC to pre-book parking in a disabled bay as my husband has to use a wheelchair.
The charge of £10.50 was hefty, but for us there was no other choice as the theatre is on a steep slope from other car parks.
Asked if I chose to collect the pre-paid parking sign or have it e-mailed to us, I chose the latter and was then asked to pay another £1 for the privilege.
Printing costs down to us, not the BIC, so £1 to press the send button – outrageous.
Needless to say, we went early and parked ourselves.
