SO, OUR lovely Bournemouth summer is over, and we can look back at summer days – lots.
My special day at 81 years of age was the weekend of the Red Arrows as most of Bournemouth was on the beach, and may I add with a smile, so was most of the universe.
I was in the middle of the universe and I was in the middle of a beautiful, peaceful united crowd, people of all nations, all on our beach, and the joy we were happy to share.
People from Poland, France, Germany, Portugal, black, white, muslim, all happy to be side by side, in the endless queue for ice cream and chips. Yes – I told myself, we could all live together, if we were given a chance.
That memory will stay with me, and for me it was my “one fine day”.
