ON DRIVING through Lytchett Minster yesterday near the church, cars were all lined up in the road ready to pick up their children from the Manor School, making it really dangerous for cars to drive past.

I was going back towards Upton, and a car came towards me from Upton, but as the cars take up the road, they had to pull over as I was slowly driving past the cars.

Why don’t they do what a friend of mine does? She goes about 10 minutes after the time they finish, or as I do if she asks me to collect them, they walk towards St Peter’s Finger, and I turn and then pick them up. Never having ever gone into the school grounds, I can’t understand why they can’t pick up inside.
