I AM a peaceful, free spirited cyclist and I was recently accosted early on a Sunday morning for cycling on a no cycling path near Coy Pond in the park.
The man who was irate said to me: “this is why we hate cyclists!” His wrath is not uncommon I find, especially, it appears, in Bournemouth.
It is, I think, somewhat excessive and frankly petty considering what is happening in the world at present. People are being bombed and dying in wars because of hate.
We should realise how lucky we are if all we have to worry about is an errant cyclist.
This world needs tolerance and love - not hate.
