A COUPLE staying with me this week before they emigrated to New Jersey, USA, sat on Sandbanks beach before they took their plane out of the country to join their family in the States.

They were enjoying the joys of the sand and beautiful surroundings, when dogs from the promenade were released from their leashes.

They were left to run free on the beach and they ran full pelt towards the lady sat on a towel.

Within 20 minutes six dogs ran at her and kicked up sand and fussed around her until a Labrador came up and had a wee on her shoes left alongside her.

Having no peace and now totally disgusted she got up and said ‘Goodbye Sandbanks’.

Memories of her childhood lost to the last time on this beach.
