I AM really pleased Peter High (‘Disappointed by line-up’, Letters July 26) enjoyed last year’s line-up of entertainment at Pier Approach and delighted to confirm this year’s live music has everything from Gospel to pop and rock to orchestra.
Highlights include The Blue Jays this week, BSO and Stevie Wonder tribute Wonderband next week, week three Badness and blues singer Jo Harman and our final week, from August 18, Pops Orchestra, ACM Gospel Choir and of course Cregan & Co endorsed by Rod Stewart: “If you can’t afford my ticket, go and see these guys, they’re just as good and half the price” – in fact they’re free to watch this summer!
A full programme of music appearing onstage at Pier Approach is available from Bournemouth.co.uk via the brochure request page.
Hope you enjoy another summer of great music and entertainment!
MARK SMITH, Director of Tourism and Corporate Comms, Bournemouth
