Leaving bikes unlocked
RE your story about 1,581 bikes stolen in Dorset.
My wife and I returned from a trip to Germany on Saturday July 12, 2014.
We noticed from our hotel room that people, having used their bikes, would place them against walls and entrances outside without locking them.
The following morning the bikes would still be there.
Can somebody explain what is wrong with this country, apart from the obvious.
