I READ with interest, the recent letter regarding the conservative councillor and the cutting of the grass at Baiter Park, Poole.
Unfortunately it’s a sad day when politics are more important than the protection of our struggling fauna and flora.
Thankfully there are large numbers of people rightly concerned about the decline of our wildlife. So much so in fact, that our wildlife charities such as the RSPB now have a record number of members.
This says it all, and relevant authorities would be wise to take note.
