AS per Mr Grant’s letter (Echo, 1st April), I also believe in European Union to a certain extent.

However it has now become a vast bureaucracy, so expensive, and in so many things “out of touch” with ordinary citizens of Europe and the Nation State.

In so many things the European bureaucrats dictate to us against our human rights, our businesses, our health and so many other things.

For the UK to prosper we have got to search for overseas customers eg China, Brazil, Asia etc etc, to really build up our country into real prosperity.

Europe has now become really stagnant with a vast bureaucrat dictating to the UK, and I’m sorry, also its poorer people.

So many citizens of Europe are truly fed up with how the European Union is run. There has to be drastic real change.

I’m afraid eight out of ten of what UKIP says is right.
