Pylons worse than Navitus
OVER the last few months, or years, there has been thousands of words printed in the Echo by local people voicing their protests about the wind farm that will be 10 miles off Bournemouth, of spoiling of the view, yet not one word in the protest about the thousands of power pylons striding across our lovely country side.
NIMBYism (not in my back yard) comes to mind.
There was a programme on television many years ago called ‘People are Funny’, a very apt title for these protesters.
