No, it wastes public money
WITH reference to Cllr Anne Rey’s comments and those of Geoff Cooper (April 7), if no one has ever said that cycle lanes are required in Castle Lane, what better reason can there be for Bournemouth council wasting more public money installing them?
Apart from creating additional congestion and pollution etc, which seem to have suddenly lost their importance, what about the added difficulties that are now likely to be experienced by the emergency services, especially those endeavouring to get to the hospital?
