THE Tesco development is good news for north Bournemouth.
A total of 120 jobs and around 150 extra free parking spaces for up to a two-hour stay.
We have a great library and hub, a registered village green, the best community centre on the south coast (over 80 groups use it), a 12th century church and Smugglers, a leisure centre to be proud of and the Kinson Buisness forum, resurgent.
Pelhams Park with a kids’ play area which could do with an uplift.
We have the NB Forum and Rotary locally supporting various charities.
AFC Bournemouth may get to the play-offs and Bournemouth Manor is near the top of the Hayward Premier football league, not forgetting the host of local volunteers doing great things for people less fortunate than ourselves.
I am proud to represent Kinson North in such a diverse and vibrant society, so come on you glass half empty people, my glass is half full. Cheers.
CLLR DENNIS GRITT, Kinson North
