I refer to your item, April 4th warning readers to ignore an email scam which informs them they have cancer.

I received that message and it, said, that my blood tests show that I do have cancer.

The point was that I have had several blood tests, not too long ago. However I also had received the findings, via my GP.

Therefore as your article suggested, the message was deleted.

Also, my email address was never given out to the hospital or the local surgery.

Another scam, when I was told that my British Airways tickets had been booked and the sender, wanted £490.

I tried to email BA, Trading Standards, local Police and my bank.

Those messages never got to them as the original, blocked my outgoing content where I had used their own, as evidence.

In the end, I printed it off then sent it.

I never heard back from the Trading Standards Office.

BA confirmed there was no such booking. Ringwood Police, suggest I ignore it, as there are so many scams going around.

I was worried, as I can not waste £490 through possibly someone, somewhere having my bank details. Not that I use online banking. But, nothing is secure these days.

Daft thing is, I don’t even have a passport nor go on holidays or business trips. Due to past family commitments.
