I live in Lytchett Matravers and three of my children go to Lytchett Matravers Primary School.
The school has a big parking issue and so two mornings a week there is a walking bus started and run by a school governor Michael Tomlinson, the conservative prospective MP for mid Dorset and north Poole and another school governor Kate Pryce. It is wonderful to see a local politician out rain or shine (or hail!) doing such a wonderful job.
It is really good for the children to be walking to school, it’s a great help for working parents and good for the environment too.
Lytchett Matravers is lucky to have such a dedicated governor and Dorset is lucky to have such a good prospect for MP.
