Hot and healthy

WE might ridicule our Australian counterparts for tossing their food on the barbie, but us Brits don't exactly need a second invitation to fire up the coals and dine al fresco.

The first glimmer of sunshine usually triggers a waft of sausage aromas, so it's safe to say that recenty spell of fabulous weather has officially marked the start of barbecue season.

However, the problem with this is that frequent barbecues tend to mean meals largely based on burgers and sausages, which is hardly a cornerstone of a nutritious diet.

However, it doesn't have to be this way. There are countless delicious and healthier alternatives to bangers and burgers, which will make sure we're not tired of the barbecue by June.
