Weller gets personal
WITH a new double album, 22 Dreams out on June 2, Paul Weller is celebrating his 50th birthday with a short tour of the UK's more intimate venues including the Opera House on Saturday.
Reportedly the most musically diverse Weller album for years, anyone expecting the night to be marked by a barrage of old Jam, Style Council and solo hits is likely to feel let down.
The first single to be taken from it is a double-A side featuring Have You Made Up Your Mind and Echoes Round the Sun, the latter a co-write with Noel Gallagher that also features Oasis guitarist Gem Archer.
Tickets for Saturday's show sold out months ago.
