Cheek them out!

TRANSYLVANIAN twins The Cheeky Girls are to star in a special show in aid of Diabetes UK at Bournemouth's Landmarc cabaret theatre on June 15.

Gabriela and Monica, who shot to fame after winning over the hearts of the nation on Popstars: The Rivals, will perform their hits The Cheeky Song (touch my bum) and Cheeky Holiday in the show which also features local singer-songwriter Shane Board, St Mary's School Choir and Steppin Out Academy of Dance.

Since appearing on Popstars The Cheeky Girls, who recently released their second album titled In My Mind (Is A Different World- A Cheeky One) - have toured Europe and Asia.

For local boy made good Shane Board, the concert is the latest benefit for Diabetes UK - a charity he has helped raise thousands of pounds for. Shane, who is himself diabetic, has a new single due to be released in the summer.

Terry Mills of Star Promotions UK Ltd, who has organised the night of entertainment said: "It will be a fun evening and a chance to see the pop duo perform with local acts."

Tickets are on sale now.
