Princess (18) Tartan ***
NOT a cartoon for little Timmy to watch after a hard day at nursery, rather a pretty dark Danish tale of vengeance and ladies of questionable moral direction.
After the death of his sister - a star of filthy films who goes by the name Princess - August pops in to see the local madam to take custody of his young niece Mia, who holds a little too much insider knowledge for such a young mind.
In order to sanitise Mia's memory of her mother, August sets out to destroy everything less than the wholesome image of the sister he vowed to protect.
Princess expertly splits live action and animation, and it's a grubby story well-told, but you won't want to watch it again.
