Follyfoot – Series 2 (PG) Network ****

STRICTLY for pony-mad children from the 1970s. And judging by the fact this is the second Follyfoot set to be released, there are a lot of you about - oh, alright then, us.

With its faded, static watercolour titles and strange, sometimes sepia production quality, it certainly looks, well, a bit lame.

But nostalgia-seekers will love it all the more for that.

Set on a farm for rescue horses, it features Dora, the poor little rich girl who loves ponies, Steve the poor lad who loves Dora, and Arthur English who loves wearing a strange leather jerkin.

With Follyfoot and that other horsey fave Black Beauty long ago condemned to the knacker's yard of TV history, this DVD revival is a welcome treat.
