Absolutely fed up with these story's that the Echo keeps coming up with. Let's have some of the hundreds of positive story's where peoples lives have been saved day after day in both our major hospitals. There again, that wouldn't be sensational enough.

IT manager secretly filmed women and children undressing at swimming pool
This is the main reason I no longer use that swimming pool - communal changing rooms.
I used to tkae my grandchildren regularly, but no more. There have been several times when people have reported men and young lads for trying to gawp at girls/women getting changed and I for one will not put my young granddaughter at risk of some pervert watching her get undressed.
As for this "man" using stress as the reason for his behaviour - one can only wonder why everyone else who lives under stress does not go around acting in a perverted manner. Many of us live under high stress these days, but we don't all go around acting like a peeping-tom, or in any other inappropriate manner !!!

Murder investigation launched after man dies following attack outside Tesco in Charminster
Not surprised at all! I am Charminster born and bred and all I can say is that over the last 10 years Charminster has gone down hill considerably. There seems to be more down and outs sleeping in door ways. This coincides with all the bars and restaurants that have opened, I know they bring money in but at what expense.

AFC Bournemouth: Cherries slump to defeat against Bolton (WITH VIDEO)
Nothing can be as bad as those dark days when Dummer & Dummer were running the show however I came away from today's game feeling very deflated the only consolation is that EH and JT will be as disappointed as us unlike the previous duo who would not have recognised good football if it jumped out in front of them.
Disappointed YES but all is not lost yet. UTC

Mobile phone robberies rise by 40% in Bournemouth in a year
40% increase sounds alarming, but is only 10 more offences in the year.
Whilst each one is extremely upsetting for the victim, lets keep this in context, balanced on the fact that Police numbers are down a third, I do think they have highlighted a dramatic figure (40%), then made the facts fit.
Bournemouth is still one of the safest towns in the UK.
On an aside, I wonder how many of those arrested had previously been given 'light' sentences by the courts?

Bournemouth man bewildered after Natwest cashier refused to accept £500 cash
I'm shocked that this warrants as a news article, says something about the lack of drive from the reporter! Let's have a story on something that isn't one plonker who has nothing better do with with his time.
Not sure how the cashier "refused the cash" either if they told him to put it in an envelope to be processed, they still took the cash it was just done a different way. Come on Echo get a proper story and/or journalist!

Bournemouth fancy dress store defends controversial "mental patient" costumes after outrage
Another case of Political Correctness gone mad and instigated by do gooders. As long as we keep giving in to these bleeding heart Liberals the more they will do it.
Censorship in this country is now worse than in the Soviet Union. You cannot say this and cannot do this etc etc. This was once a free country where freedom of speech was a right. Now you cannot say anything without upsetting someone, breaking the law or being a racist! We really do need to get a grip and live in the real world!

"I'm flabbergasted" says disgraced former councillor Tony Ramsden after being found guilty of bankruptcy charge
His first bankruptcy was taken for his father David Ramsden in 1993 " a trivial matter" (his words). In 2003 the amount was over £800.000 a misunderstanding with shop fitters" (his words) And now in 2013 this time for non payment of he's children's (and hers) private school fees and non payment for their rented house. I hope you are getting the 10 year thing ?
Yesterday he was "Flabergasted" why? He has run numerous firms in the name of Planning. Solutions, and guess what he still is, look at that one Mr Harrow, taking the mick, I think so.
Let's remember who gave evidence at the investigation into the relationship between Beesley and Ramsden, where planning permission was granted for several constructions, oh yes that would be Mr Beesley. It's like asking a burglar " are you guilty ? No your honour , OK case dismissed" Wake up Bournemouth and smell the coffee, who has paid for all this ? US!!!!
I would make a small bet AR & HR will soon be back together, now her charges have been dropped. These people could not even lie straight in bed!!
One down, but a few more to go.

Is it not time that the Secretary of State put in hand a proper public Inquiry into the administration of local authority business in the Borough of Bournemouth? How else will it be possible to re-establish public confidence? There is a perception of corruption at every turn which will not be dispelled by piecemeal examination or internal audit but only by independent objective scrutiny.

AFC Bournemouth: Fraser determined to make his mark
Speaks volumes about football's warped finances that a 19 year old with a handful of games behind him can afford to live in Sandbanks.Give me strength, how petty!
It doesn't say whether he's staying with friends, renting a room or sleeping on the beach! As a 19 year old he's hardly likely to have brought a mansion now is he.

Speaks volumes about football's warped finances that a 19 year old with a handful of games behind him can afford to live in Sandbanks.I rented a 2 bed flat in sandbanks for just short of 2k a month including bills with en suite and balcony on a 48k a year wage. Fraser is probably on 6k a month after tax. He can more than afford it.
