England celebrate taking the wicket of Alviro Petersen at Lord's
Steven Finn claimed two quick wickets as England made a confident start to the third Investec Test against South Africa at Lord's.
James Anderson struck a big first blow for England, with the wicket of captain Graeme Smith, in a match they must win to share the series and stop their opponents knocking them off the top of the world rankings.
Smith's opening partner Alviro Petersen was the next man out to Finn, gloving a short delivery down the leg side which was well taken by wicketkeeper Matt Prior.
Hashim Amla had progressed to 13 when Finn got one through his defences to clip the top of off stump, leaving the Proteas on 50 for three.
