JACOB Peters added to his growing list of Dorset records as he helped Poole win the top visiting club trophy at the Swim Bournemouth Winter Open Meet.

The 15-year-old national age group champion set new county junior figures of 1:01.19 in the 100m individual medley and shaved 0.04 seconds off his own Dorset junior 50m butterfly record with a time of 25.36.

Peters contributed seven wins to Poole’s tally of 34 gold, 20 silver and 10 bronze medals at Littledown.

Rising star Jess Kelleway topped the Poole medals table with no fewer than nine golds and Peters, Kelleway, Andrew Botros, Jasmine Holmes and Luke Roxburgh all broke Poole club records.

Nine-year-old Max Looker led Swim Bournemouth’s medal charge with 12 golds in the youngest age group.

Team-mate Ollie Fairman struck gold seven times in the 11-12yrs age group while Ellie Brown was a six-time winner in the nine years girls’ events.

Saskia Van Der Schouw and Abi Manns won three golds each while Harriet Fish and Matthew Workman took two apiece.

Their medals were among 142 won by the host club.

Isaac Ellis was Seagulls’ leading medallist with seven golds in the 10 years age group. Team-mate Max Weeks won the 13-14 years 50m breaststroke.
