DORSET under-16s surrendered a two-goal lead as they succumbed to a 4-2 defeat at Devon in the South & West Counties League.

The visitors took a 1-0 lead into half-time after Tom Hyde lashed home following a save by keeper Josh Coulton.

And the advantage was doubled early in the second period when Henry Davy played in James King and the Corfe Mullen youngster lobbed into the net.

But that was as good as it got for the visitors as Devon hit back, Jordan Ford nodding in from close range to halve the deficit.

And Ford levelled matters following good work from Corey Price and Jamie Vaughan-Ryall, before completing his hat-trick shortly afterwards.

Jordan Lovibond wrapped up victory for the home side in injury-time when he slotted under keeper Jonathan Rushent.
