FATHER-AND-SON winners Michael and Liam Burrows collected their Eunan O’Kane’s Crossbar Challenge prize from the man himself before the Cherries match against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

O’Kane was the only member of Eddie Howe’s squad to hit the woodwork when the Soccer AM cameras visited the training ground and donated his ‘I Hit The Bar’ T-shirt as a reward for one lucky supporter who took on the challenge.

Fans were encouraged to film their most inventive efforts on their smartphones and email them in for O’Kane to select a winner.

The club received more than 25 entries from supporters of all ages, generating more than 20,000 views on its official YouTube channel in the process, before Liam and Michael were chosen as the winner.

Each of the four runners-up also received a copy of Football Manager.

“I watched all the entries and it was a very difficult decision to choose between two for a winner,” said O’Kane.

“I have to give a special mention to Jack Lord because he hit the bar twice and he was very close to winning.

“But my winners were Liam and Michael Burrows. To see son then father hit the bar was great and I wanted to throw in the boots that I managed to hit the bar with too.”
