UNBEATEN Greenfields under-14s marched into the last eight of the Hampshire Cup with an emphatic 8-0 win over Travaux FC at Ferndown.

The hosts boasted eight different goalscorers as they brushed aside their Horndean-based opponents to book a quarter-final date this weekend.

“We have aspirations of going through to the final but have a tough match away to Basingstoke Town Colts Elite this Sunday,” said Greenfields boss Adrian Chambers.

“We have quality players who play some great football, and have the ability to score goals from all over the pitch,” he added.

On target for Greenfields against Travaux at King George V Playing Fields were David Bratchford, Adam Abo-Rashed, Kofi Anjorin, Tim D’Cruz, Owen Nicholson, Matt Davis, Ben Cooper and Lewis Chambers.

Greenfields are the current Bournemouth Cup holders, and have won the Bournemouth Youth League twice.

They are also unbeaten in all competitions so far this season, having won all 14 games, scoring 84 goals and conceding only eight.

Also through to the Hampshire Cup quarter-finals on Sunday are Bournemouth Electric who host Gosport Falcons.
