Golf: Georgia selected for top England performance squad

DORSET’S Georgia Hall is among the women and girl players selected for training with England Golf’s performance squad.
The 16-year-old Remedy Oak star is joined in the women’s squad by Sarah-Jane Boyd (British strokeplay champion), Curtis Cup player Bronte Law and English strokeplay winner Alex Peters.
Georgia is the top European women’s amateurand is the reigning British girls champion.
She is also fourth in the women’s world rankings and was a semi-finalist in the British women’s amateur and French lady junior championships.
The Oakmead College pupil is also among the 10 contenders on the shortlist for the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award 2012.
