TALBOT Heath School have been crowned double champions for the second time at the AEGON team tennis national finals in Bolton.
The Bournemouth school’s Year 8 team retained their title of champions for a third successive year, while the Year 10 team won back their national crown.
Talbot Heath is the only school ever to win a clean sweep of both the junior and senior events in the competition’s 29-year history, repeating their double of two years ago.
The number one seeds won 33 out of the 36 matches played over the weekend.

“To be number one in Great Britain is an immense achievement and shows the depth of players we have at Talbot Heath,” she added.
