Rugby: Mini marvels are the pride of Lions

BOURNEMOUTH under-7s finished ahead of rugby powerhouses Bath, as well as teams from Salisbury, Oakmeadians and Chippenham, to claim a cup triumph.
The Chapel Gate youngsters were crowned cup winners at the Salisbury Mini Rugby Festival.
Bournemouth progressed to the final after topping their group thanks to wins against Andover and Wootton Bassett and a draw against Salisbury.
Young Lions lifted the silverware after defeating Welsh outfit Llantwit Fardre by an aggregate score of 18-16.
The team’s proud coaches praised the spirit demonstrated by their players.
